German Speaking Customer Service Advisor
Location: Leicester – fully office-based
Salary: Up to £25,100 depending on experience
Office Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm

We are recruiting for a German Speaking Customer Service Advisor, for a leading brand based in Leicester.
This is a friendly, supportive environment, with a pleasant and manageable workload.

You’ll be helping customers in German via phone and email, offering a warm, human experience to callers, many of whom prefer to speak to someone directly rather than order online.

The German customer service team is well-established, and the role offers training, stability and a genuine chance to build confidence in a low-pressure but high-quality setting.

About The Role

  • Handling inbound customer calls in German – Non pressured, nice environment – not a call centre
  • Maximum number of inbound calls is typically 40 per day
  • Providing a helpful, personal service to mainly older German speaking customers who prefer to speak by phone
  • Responding to return and refund queries, payment issues and general enquiries
  • Assisting customers via email and social media, after initial phone training period which is more phone based
  • Learning about the product range and helping customers choose the right items – from look to fabrics and more
  • Using internal systems to track orders and resolve issues

The Ideal Candidate

  • Fluent German speaker preferred, though open to people who want to get fluent again
  • Must be as a minimum, good at speaking on the phone in German
  • Confident communicator, able to speak naturally and warmly by phone
  • Some customer service experience preferred but not essential
  • Comfortable with a routine, call-based role
  • Friendly, down-to-earth personality – quiet and confident applicants equally welcome
  • Based within a 30-minute commute of Leicester
  • Happy to be office-based Monday to Friday
