Dutch and German Speaking Sales and Customer Service

Salary: Starting at £35,000 basic (depending on experience) plus uncapped commission
Willing to match or exceed for the right candidate
Working hours: Working 37.5 hours per week
Starting earlier to cover European markets, typically 8:00am to accommodate Netherlands and Germany time zone

We are recruiting for a leading safety company, who keep workers safe at work with their innovative products.
You will be developing new opportunities while nurturing and growing existing customer relationships, using professional business-level language skills in Dutch, German and English.
This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, while delivering excellent customer service. And isn’t afraid to pick up the phone. Full training and support are provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Dealing with inbound client enquiries, and converting those into sales
- Developing new business by prospecting new clients
- The role is a mix between looking after customers and gaining new customers
- Building and growing existing accounts by running regular reviews and identifying expansion opportunities
- Managing relationships with buyers and stakeholders while maintaining high service standards
- Dealing with contracts, tenders, and customer negotiations (training provided)
- Presenting solutions confidently on video calls and in meetings
- Managing time effectively across a split week, balancing pipeline activity with account responsibilities
Typical day:
- Starting the day by reviewing pipeline activity, inbound leads, and priority accounts
- Calling prospects and customers to uncover opportunities and progressing conversations
- Preparing and delivering presentations via Teams or video calls
- Running account reviews and identifying growth areas across departments and regions
- Managing contract and tender activity while keeping stakeholders updated
- Updating activity and progress against KPIs and quota expectations
Ideal candidate profile:
- Speaking Dutch and German to a strong business level, with Dutch preferred and German also required at business standard
- Communicating in English confidently enough to discuss KPIs, performance, and day-to-day priorities
- Demonstrating a proven mix of sales drive and customer relationship management
- Enjoying phone-based selling and showing confidence in proactive outreach
- Managing long sales cycles with persistence and resilience
- Staying highly organised while juggling multiple accounts and targets
- Showing comfort with presenting and explaining solutions clearly
