Location: Wigan, Hybrid 3 days on-site, 2 remote

Salary: £28,800

Hours: Normal office hours Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for a leading global manufacturing company based in Wigan. They export their products internationally and are known for their warm, supportive culture and team who have been with the business a long time.

About the Role

This is a customer service administrator role supporting their German-speaking business customers. You’ll act both as a relationship manager and administrator, handling incoming orders and ensuring a smooth customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing incoming orders which are all from German business customers
  • Acting like a relationship manager in dealing with those orders
  • Managing orders that might take several different steps, such as:
  • Checking if the product is in stock
  • Liaising with the customer
  • Listening to the requirements and going back to the customer or internal team
  • Entering the order on the system (full training provided)

Key person needed

  • Fluent German speaker
  • Really good at dealing with customers while also able to work accurately and process multiple things at once
  • Able to dealing with manufacturing-related problems
  • Such as what could possibly go wrong in the process—and really being able to solve those problems for customers
