German-Speaking Credit Controller
Location: Manchester (Hybrid) or Remote with Monthly Office Visits
Salary: Up to £33,000 + £3,000 Performance Bonus
Office Pattern: Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 from home) or Fully Remote
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour paid lunch)

We are recruiting for a leading company in an exciting industry. This role sits within the credit control team, focusing on managing relationships and debt collection for German-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of German-speaking B2B clients with debts
- Chasing overdue payments via phone, email, and letter
- Building strong customer relationships to ensure smooth collections
- Resolving billing and payment queries efficiently
- Monitoring aged debt and ensuring timely payments
- Keeping accurate records of client interactions
- Reporting on debt status and collection progress
- Collaborating with internal finance teams
- Maintaining compliance with company policies
- Using Excel for data management and reporting
The Person They’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ good credit control experience
- Able to attend the Manchester office once or twice a month
- Fluent German speaking
- Really strong operator in credit control, really hands on in the job
- Strong Excel skills for data tracking
- Relationship-building abilities with clients
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Resilient and persistent in debt collection
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a high-volume environment
- Experience in finance or accounts receivable beneficial
