However, non German roles always need to be worked on a retained basis, meaning we are paid for our work done finding candidates and not only after successful placement.
The reason for this is because we have to do more resourcing work to find candidates for non-German roles. Many hours and sometimes a couple of weeks needs to be spent prior to sending a quality candidate shortlist.
For Contingency and Exclusive assignments, it is within 14 days of the candidate starting with you. For Retained assignments, a portion will be paid in advance of starting work on the role and the rest after the start date.
